That sudden shock hit me hard as I heard the man, leading me to look frantically at the danger-light. I wanted to forget what happened those few nights before but the image kept flashing back hauntingly to my mind. But when the peculiar stranger walked down to my station beside the railway, a wave of relief washed over me. So I told this man my story as we got acquainted through the night in the dark cutting. It felt really comforting to have someone to talk to. But as I told him about the red light, I saw it again. It would never stay away from me. Never. I told him to visit the next night so I could tell him more. But then again that following night I saw it. I can’t stand this madness any longer. I don’t want to stay like this my whole life. This ghost must have a reason and I just need to find out what it is he’s telling me. But as I look, a bright light blinds me knocking me over as infinitive blackness surrounds me.
When I heard the voice I didn’t know what to do, but I did what I always did when I heard that voice, I looked at the danger light. I kept remembering of the days that had passed and the images and thoughts of those poor people and the accidents. It suddenly occurred to me that the man was saying the same exact words I had always heard from my vision. This man came to talk to me. I told him about my story when he came and he kept me company from days onward. I told him to leave as I saw the red light again. This time I told him to come back, but not to shout down any more. The next night, the exact same thing happened to me again. I was getting frightened and I needed to find out what was causing these lights. Was it some crashed train inside the tunnel, I wonder. That was when I decided to find out, when it hit me.
I heard the voice, the same voice as that I heard when I didn’t know what was coming next. When the stranger came down we talked and I looked at the danger light when it didn’t light up. The stranger asked me why I did it and I told him my story what still when I say it frightens me. I saw that he believed me and I liked that he was there when the light went on. It was dark so I said that he needed to visit me again but then that he wouldn’t call the same words again like he did before. Then when I saw it again I went looking and I didn’t know what was coming so I looked when someone told me the same words, I stood like a pilar I couldn’t move. And I felt like there was only that light nothing else, but then it went quiet … Forever.
I can never tell anyone this but I keep hearing this noise. It's a warning I know it. I keeping seeing the images of does accidents in my head. One day this odd man paid me a visit. He startled me at first, by saying the exact words I heard in my vision, but he seemed like a nice enough person. So I told him my secret and he kept coming to see me. The next night he came and I saw the ever disturbing red light, when I walked out on the track and my life stubbled onto its end.
I didn't know what to think anymore. I didn't know if anyone would ever believe me. That ghost was real and it was warning me. It kept warning me.I couldn't think of it then. It warned me of the lady on the train who died, it warned me of the giant crash that killed all those people. Now I don't know who it was , but it tried to warn me of my own death. My death from a train that said what he said. I wish I had paid attention.
Those words.. they're constantly repeated. They haunt me.. And when that man came down the stairs, saying the exact same words, I knew then that something horrible would happen. There had already been two incidents, both on my watch. As the man came down and visited me, I spoke with him like I had no other. He seemed intelligent, and wise, and was good company. I grew to like him the second time he came and visited, it does get lonely in this job. I told him about the ghost I saw.. the one that haunted the danger light, waving his arms frantically, repeating the same words over and over.. We made an arrangement to meet one more time, the next evening. But I just couldn't wait. The man under the danger light called to me. I had to see what was wrong, I couldn't have something else happen on my watch. Not again. But the train.. the bright light.. I was put into a sleep that I may never wake from.
It’s cold, damp, dark and lonely down here, everyday there are trains that pass by. My job is to change the tracks for them to guide them to the right direction. There is a man that stands at the entrance of the tunnel when he visits something bad always happens, he haunts me but every time I try to approach him he turns his back and disappears. It was a normal day when I heard the voice … I was frozen with fear , my heart stopped for a second as I turned to look at the tunnel “hello below “ it sounded and echoed over and over but I then realized that the voice was from above a man was calling me. He descended to my level and I told him about myself and he promised to come back the night after and continue to visit me. However one night I went out on to the tracks all I could hear was the voice calling me “hello below there” it was coming from the tunnel the specter was waving his arms desperately with his eyes over his face , after that all I could remember was the lights where bright and I was looking over the third crash that had happened.
It is lonely down here, day after day, night after night watching the trains go by, looking at the danger light and seeing something, hearing him say the same things over and over again. then this chap shows up at the top of the hill and says his exact words! he came down the path engraved in the hill but it was not him. i told him of what my job was and how there had been two accidents already and both of which i couldnt do anything about but wanted to! i keep looking at the danger light and he keeps asking why, i tell him that it has rung but he does not hear. he leaves and there i hear him again; "Hello Bellow There!" i race towards the danger light to find out who this is and what i saw was not what i thought, a man waving his arms and shouting something, and after that all is blank...
Everyday I spend down here, I spend a most of my time thinking about when I will see him next. He comes rather constantly, at least everyday, and he is always doing the same thing; covering his face in shame of me, ever since that fateful day.
Recently, a curious young man has been visiting me, and he seems quite the nice fellow. He is inquisitive about my days, and likes to have my company, as do I like his.
He had to leave me one night, as it was getting rather late, and I decided to get a drink, and sit down, and have a good relax. When all of a sudden, I hear the spectre shouting to me 'come quick! come quick!' Out of curiosity, I got out of my seat, and ran out onto the tracks. I looked in the direction of the tunnel, but all I saw was a very bright light, right in front of my face, and frozen with shock, I could do nothing as the train failed to stop in time...
I kept thinking about the events from the past. The nights and days, where the ghost 'haunted' the train line and the red warning light. When the ghost kept coming the last two times, terrible train accidents happened afterward, and now the ghost kept coming again, and I wonder what he was trying to tell me this time. Then, a stranger came to visit this lonely place and we began to talk. The stranger confused me because the first time he shouted to me, he shouted the exact words that the ghost shouted in my visions, but I guess I was just getting really crazy with all the visions. I talked with the man and told him to come tomorrow and he came. This time I told him about the ghost and my visions and that I was troubled about what was going to happen here and if I could possibly prevent it. I don't know if the man believed me, but at least he said he would visit me again. But the next day, I saw and heard the ghost again, and I went to see what was going on, when the train came out of the darkness and ended my story.
Im lonely, let's be honest. That's why I don't mind the young man to keep visiting me, he's a nice fellow he really is. He seem's very curious about my life down here, and that's why I decided to tell him what I've been seeing down here for years and years. Luckily he didnt think I was crazy because he kept coming back to Visit. As I said goodbye to him one night, I saw the ghost again, as I ran out to go see what it wanted all I could see was a bright light...
I was both surprised and shocked when I heard something shout out. I instantly thought it was the danger light, fortunately it was a man. I spoke with him that night. He was very interested in what I had to say and often questioned me. The next night he came and we talked further. It was that night that I told him about certain events that the danger light had caused. I do not know why it haunts me. In the end I decided to end all troubles related to the red light. I walked onto the tracks and then everything turned blank.
I had always worked as a signal man and every day it seemed fine to me. Until this day came.. I had never experienced such a day as the day of the signal man. I had heard something outside, and decided to go outside to check out what had happened. As soon as I went outside I had not seen any sign of imperfections. But strangely, I had a seen a red bright light coming from the tunnel. I moved closer to it.. Nothing changed... It continued brightly shine and nearly blinded me as I moved closer to it. However as soon as I moved closer and was a step away from touching the light, I had heard a train coming, it was very near. I could hear it. I moved out the way and the train passed, throwing out a dead body. It had terrified me. My whole body was shivering from the cold and fearness. It was a terrible night.
I was happy that someone came to visit me. It was unexpected but still I enjoyed his company. He was a decent chap and I was willing to tell him my story. So I told him to come back the next day. I told him about the crash and about the girl who fell and died. I also told him that something bad was going to happen. The night when he left I decided to walk onto the train tracks and saw 2 lights heading my way. Then I only saw a bright light.
I met a man on my way to the house. He seemed to be very friendly and I felt like telling him my story. I always was a signal man I worked hard and liked this job. However, strange things start to happen around. I heard strange sounds and sometimes two red eyes inside the tunnel. Then those awful train accidents were happening one after another. That man listened to my story very carefully and promised to come tomorrow. That night I went outside when I saw a light coming really fast towards me. That was the last thing I saw.
I am an old man and I worked as a signalman. My life has been always not fullfilled with actions, but once I saw a ghost, this really frightened me. One day a man was imitating a ghost, said exactly the same words and repeated the actions. I was freaked out, though the man looked quite normal to me. He came to me the next evening, probably he had nothing to do, and I told him that I saw a spectre which dissapeared when I got closer to it, and that a bride was murdered and thrown away from the train one day, and that there was an accident once, I hope I did not scare the man. Then, later I was killed myself, I think it is not coinsedance at all.
I heard that weird voice when I first saw those steps leading down to the train track. I couldn't resist going down and seeing what was happening there. There was a signalman there, and his job was to tell the trains if they can pass, and the conditions of the area and the tunnel. He seemed like he was a lunatic, but I listened to him. He told me all sorts of weird stories. He told me he hears a different bell when he needs to go outside and see these 'figures' by the red light next to the tunnel. He seemed to be very scared. He even told me at one point that he heard the bell and I went outside and I could not see anything at all. I decided to visit him the next day, and when I went there, I learned that he was dead! This man will always be a big mystery to me.
These words, they haunt me! I was shocked almost out of my life when I heard that man yelling them, it MUST have been the ghost who made him say them! It doesn't make any sense, he didn't come to haunt me at all! He listened to my story and I decided to meet him the next day. It just made so much sense that he has something to do with these crashes and this ghost! I decided to meet this ghost, I looked at the warning light, stepped on the tracks and then everything went black..
That voice, I heard it again, it made me paranoid... It’s a warning, I know it, but for what? I’m seeing images in my head of all these accidents, and I have a feeling something going to happen again. I heard the call, from the top of the cutting. I stood there in a glare, trying to work out who he was, and if he was even real or not. That next night, I saw the deadly red light and that’s where my life came to its end.
Yet again, the same voice, i heard it again. What is it? who is it? what do they need? Everytime i hear that noise i see an accident happen in my head. There was an accident on the line here, but i just hope it won't happen again. The man i met yesterday made a lot of sence to me. He seemed to think it was a ghost and i could tell he was serious, because he sat there and listened to everything i said.
