  1. Shakespearean Sonnet
    By Siri Arends

I walked along the rocky shore
My shoes crunching in the sand
The fog gathered among the wild moor
And began to hide the land

The wild birds called out their cries
    From somewhere near the sea
They spread their wings and take to the skies
    They all seem so free

I wonder back towards the house
As my heart fills with sorrow
As I remembered my dreaded spouse
Who will return on the morrow

I sighed a happy sigh of air
And then returned to the lair.

  3. Not only is your sonnet not like really bad and whatnot, Siri, it's the *only* sonnet that has been posted so far! I understand that some people may be having computer problems, but I am sure that not *everyone* is having them. Come on! This was homework.

    Sonnet
    by Evita Otigbah

    CHRISTINA

Christina the gorgeous model in class,
She is fourteen years of age born in March.
She loves to lie on the sweet summer grass,
and under the great bule cloudy sky arch.

She came to live here because of her asthma.
Her aim is to enter a good college.
she comes from Russia which is very far.
She came to Veedala to gain Knowledge.

she has a dad, mum and an older bro.
she has a shoe size of thirty-seven.
She hopes her feet will not get bigger or grow.
She doesn't like guys that are named Kevin.

To all her friends she is like a cute star,
but she is not of age to drive a car.

    Finished

    (that was embarrassing)

  5. Shakespearean Sonnet
    By James Kohout

He has lived in Malta all his life and,
That's 14 years he has been here and he
Doesn't mind his parents, always close at hand
Always told to work and his father won't agree
    He goes to Verdala International
and studies subjects like italian well
The teachers are oh so rational
He also thinks the campus is oh so swell
He thinks Ryan should cut his hair short
or else it will be too long for school
He'll grow up growing an afro of sorts
But then again, wouldn't that be cool?
He plays video games and guitar,
He does it so his talents won't go afar.

  8. My Sonnet

    Andrew graham from United kingdom,
Fourteen Years old and already quite tall.

He has live in Malta and hates boredom
Generous is he, not selfish at all.

History's his topic he knows it well,
From Kaiser to hitler, the treaties too!

He enjoys playing games like splinter cell.

He loves his guitars and has quite a few.

Rock is his favourite music style,
From the Plain White T's to Metallica.

He eats so much food that it makes you smile,
Full English Breakfast on the formica.

That is Andrew summed up in a sonnet
You'll no doubt see him munching on nuggets.

    Rosie

There once was a girl whose name was Rosie
She lived on an island that's called Malta,
Was born in England where you drink much tea
But now she's here surrounded by water.

She is a student of Verdala School
She's fourteen years old and in grade nine A
Lives in St. Julian's, without a pool
but she often goes to swim in the bay.

She's so pretty with platinum blonde hair
Her hot pink clothes and beautiful blu eyes,
to be mad at her you shouldn't dare
At the time, thirty-nine is her shoe size.

Twenty years from now she'll be back in England
with three kids, loved'n famous with her own band.

    POLINA KRAVTSOVA

    Polina is a wonderful fairy
who loves color and extreme horse riding.
She flies away when something is scary
but she always stays for the rough fighting.

The music inside her makes her feet fly
over the rivers and trees of Russia.
Inside the house there is a fresh Russian pie
while she enjoys a nice drink of Crusha.

Polina the fairy princess loves food
but another fave is cherry ice cream.
    Movie Australia changes her mood
as living there is the fairy's great dream.

No one rocks the world as Polina does.
She will live forever in a quick buzz!

  12. Dylan: Shakespearean Sonnet

Dylan’s Irish, but was born in Sharjah.
Lived in Saudi Arabia 9 years.
He is fourteen, and now lives in Malta.
Has ginger hair, and pale from toes to ears.

He likes Green Day’s and Rise Against’s music.
And likes playing PC games (Fallout 3).
    Plays guitar, accoustic and electric.
Not that many people know more than he!

If he had a choice of who he would be,
Out of anyone on the world today.
Jimmy Page is the man that you should see.
His icon is Les Paul, who died away...

Tae Kwon Do after school again i see,
Dylan is a brilliant chap, yipee!

    Valentina poem

I spoke to my classmate Valentina
To get to know a little more from her
Her favourite ice cream is vanilla
    I got information about her

She loves giraffes, and plums and cherry trees
Fashion TV, art and writing in pink
Her eyes are green, and she likes ocean breeze
And by the way, she really likes to think

Likes to think of different types of things
Such as her hair, manicure and make up
But also education and home works
So for her future she is really up

I hope now you are more familiar
So go and eat your breakfast cereal

  16. My Sonnet about Sara, sorry I know its not that good

    Sara Sonnet

Sara comes from the great land of Sweden
She left there a whole 2 years ago
She hopes to find a Garden of Eden
But I am not so sure she can sew

And she is also half American
I think she looks like a bit of both too
She probably won’t want to drive a van
But I don’t often see her wearing blue

Sara’s hair is long and very blonde
And has travelled across many oceans
That is much more than a simple pond
In drama she shows many emotions

Sorry, I do not know Sara that well
But she is a great person, I can tell

  17. This is my sonnet,
    Hope its good....:D

I have a very weird friend called Ryan,
He likes to devour an apple pie,
And when he devours he is flying,
He is flying way high up in the sky.

He likes to play some good video games,
They make him super omega happy,
He beats me and I feel I must say ‘LAME!’,
And he is just plain filled with lots of glee.

He wants a bunch of zombies to attack,
He wants them to kill people and destroy,
Only so he can gladly hit them back,
And his final death words will be ‘Oh boy!’.

And when at night he’s in his bed asleep,
He can only think of shearing some sheep.
