Next Thursday, we will be writing about Jhumpa Lahiri's story "The Third and Final Continent" and the film made based on her novel The Namesake. So that we have lots of ideas to work with on Thursday, please list three themes common to both the story and the film. (Try to do this without reading your classmates' answers first.
